Scores of people can hardly get through the day without their morning cuppa joe, but when camping, it becomes almost ritualistic. There are some who pay no mind to the fact that they are in the wild and bring all manner of tools to make a precisely measured and brewed cup of coffee, but you don’t need to go overboard to make a really nice cup of coffee in the outdoors. The pour-over method is one that will make a universally great cup of coffee, provided you take a couple extra minutes for preparation. The tips in this video will result in a balanced, low-acidity cup of coffee every time, trust us. Our only regret is that we didn’t get our own video of the process!

  1. a cone, a number 2 filter and Cafe Bustelo reground to a fine powder….and maybe a shot of wild turkey depending on the morning….ok every morning who the hell am i fooling.

  2. Always pack a French press and the best coffee I can find.

  3. French press and good ground coffee is the best, most convenient coffee for camping.
