There are few bonds in the world that can compare to those between mother and child, as is evidenced in a large number of species in the animal kingdom. A mother protects her young, at times even risking her own health and life to do so, and will go to tremendous lengths to keep them safe. This video of a walrus mother and her young may take place in the frigid waters of the Arctic, but the loving bond between her and her pup will surely warm your heart.
