For some people, adventure is something they read about in books or see on TV; for others, it is a way of life. But there’s no reason the two need to be mutually exclusive, which is exactly what the team behind GO intends to promote.
Designed to inspire others to find their own spirit of adventure, GO is a new online adventure-travel series that follows veteran explorer Josh Aldridge and his crew as they traverse some of the most rugged, beautiful places North America has to offer. Throughout the series they’ll be exploring caves, jungles, mountains, and rivers in the wildest of ways, instilling viewers with a sense of excitement and motivation to get out into the natural world and do what moves them.
Throughout the series they’ll be joined by special guests, including professional climber Tommy Caldwell, National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence Sylvia Earle, and world champion kayaker Ben Brown, all people who have inspired adventure within their own domain and beyond. The expertise and character they’ll bring to the series will be invaluable, and will serve to enrich the experiences of the GO team and those of us who follow their story.
Filming the pilot episode took the GO crew along the Buffalo National River, Whitaker Point, and Lost Valley of northern Arkansas, each of which are iconic North American outdoor locations for their unsurpassed beauty and raw nature. Their next stop is Zion National Park in Utah, where they will zealously tackle the gorgeous sandstone canyons the area is internationally famous for. They are raising funds for this next untamed adventure through the GO Further! FundRazr campaign, and we personally can’t wait to see what the guys of GO have in store for us next. Special shout out for using SunnySports as one of their outdoor gear providers!
Here’s a little teaser of the pilot episode, which will air on Hulu this September. What adventures are waiting out there for you?
